Sophie’s mother said that her daughter would have “[given] someone the shirt off her back. That’s how joyful she was. She would help anyone.” She was deeply loved by her Baltimore community, and she was a talented ballroom performer. Last year, she was proud to be named Best New Overall Mother, and she had close ties with houses like Gabbana, Voltaire, Pink Lady and the House of Balenciaga.
