Someone close to Lynn wrote: “A trans woman and lesbian, she had many interests, including computing, transit, politics, and philosophy. She enjoyed travel, flying across the US as far as California and Puerto Rico. She studied at the University of Maryland in pursuit of a degree in computer science, was employed part-time as a telescope operator by the college, and participated in several student clubs there.”
