Christina was a co-founder of Sasha's Rainbow of Hope, an LGBTQIA+ focused nonprofit advocacy and resource center serving the San Juan County area, the greater Four Corners, and Diné land. Her obituary states that her “unique personality facilitated her role in the community as an advocate for those in need of resources.” She was also a published poet.
